So today I just ordered what I believe to be my 8th or 9th pair of the McGuffey Plain Toe, so I feel immensely qualified to comment. First the negative. . . Clearly I like them a lot, aside from 3 issues in the past. 1) One pair was inexplicably cut tight in the outside toe area and my pinky toes suffered through a lengthy break-in period (I've always ordered 9. 5 M). I managed to survive. 2) On two occasions, the laces were so short that tying them securely was nearly impossible. This is exacerbated by the fact that the style of lace on this shoe seems to find its way loose too easily. The positive. . . It is a super attractive and comfortable shoe that I consider reasonably durable (and I'm pretty tough on shoes). Lastly, the look has a good range, in that it can handle both casual and more formal wear very well. Versatile is perhaps a good descriptor for the McGuffey. Strongly recommend. Good value.

These for true to size, and. Were pretty comfortable. Wore everyday for most of summer. The one thing that I didn’t like was the inside of the strap where the buckle was snapped onto, the inside metal covering of that snap or whatever you would call it was fairly cheap and became bent and loose . I was able to bend it back flat with some pliers . But overall great quality for the price

I love your shoes so much you’re so similar to Birkenstocks. They’re just a dupe and I’ll be ordering more. They’re really comfortable and they have some soft cushion in it and they kinda do run a little small but for me I’m a size 8 1/half and it comes as an eight but it fits perfect perfectly but for me 1 foot is bigger than the other, but just the right size is actually very much perfect and I’ll be ordering more.

These are a great pair of sandals for the price. The straps are adjustable and they wipe off easily. The only downside is that I got sores on both of my big toes after I tightened the straps and then wore them all day.

This are the perfect dupe for berks plus they are super comfy. I have walked long periods wearing them and they haven't hurt my feet yet. You can adjust the straps too to tighten or loosen how you want

I purchased the Gray Nubuck color. very versatile color! love the look of the shoe, however, the arch support is not in the correct spot for my feet. I wear size 10. the burnish on the tip is not even on both shoes and that just bugs me to look at it.. (just not necessary)... hopefully it will fade in time... the disappointing factor is that the padding on the inside is not easily removable. I wanted to just take it out and put in a support that I know works well. I'll have to wait to try this since it is a Christmas present to myself and I can go destroying it yet...lol . if anyone has any suggestions before then please let me know.

I got these hoping they would replace a pair that I've had for years, but no joy. These are comfortable and true to size, and the adjustable straps mean that they'll work OK for different width feet. However, the footbed has no arch support. There isn't even a padded bump in the arch area that flattens out when you put weight on it, it's just completely flat. Since I actually need arch support and got these for that reason, they won't work for me. If all you are looking for is an expensive slide in this style, then you'll probably be ok with them.

I just received these so cannot speak as to longevity but wore them for a few hours and they didn't bother at all. They are true to size, I'm a 9 and they fit just right. Nice quality and footbed is cushioned. So far so good, good purchase!

Giving it a 4 out of 5 stars due to a stain once the band got wet. It came out but an inconvenience. I would suggest spraying with a protective coating similar to what you would for winter boots. These will have years and years of wear!"
